I did it again! Yet another bike part crushes under the power of the Gorilla. This Tuesday night during our Club ride, I snapped the titanium spindle on my Crank Brothers Candy 4ti in half. Titanium is known for its high strength-to-weight ratio, but it still has a breaking point. They where great pedals and lasted a good two years (Just over warranty mind you) with one rebuild last fall. not bad for $500.00 dollars. :P Hit the link and check out the max rider weight for the pedals and keep in mind I weigh-in at 250lbs, it's good for a laugh.
